MECHANICAL SUPERVISOR – HYUNDAI E&C (Mong Duong I 2x500MW Coal Fired Power Project). - Supervise subcontractors at site to ensure that subcontractors activities are carried out in accordance with the approved subcontractor quality plan and report to manager daily. - Attend construction meeting, progress meeting with Manager, Subcontractor. - Preparing Piping Plans, Piping Layout, Equipment Layout, ISO Drawings. Reviewing P&ID, Equipment Drawings and Structural Drawings. - Carried out Detail design of Plant piping and Pipe lines (LSTK Projects). - Prepared Valve Data Sheet, Scope of work, Pipe line routing, Population density calculation, various piping calculations used for process piping and pipe lines. - Preparing piping safety instruction sheets with the required calculations for pipe wall thickness,Maximum allowable operating pressure (MAOP), and test pressure. - Supervise all mechanical/piping construction activities to ensure all the works are carried out as per project specification and schedule. - Installation of piping systems by using Plan, Isometric drawings and P & ID’s. - Checking of ISO drawings, release for Pre-fabrication of A/G spools based on the priority and material availability. - Involved in loops preparation, Mechanical clearance, Pneumatic testing and final box upof Equipments & Piping system. - Prepared Various Pre-Commissioning Procedures of Piping systems. - Supervised the installation of under ground Fire water / Cooling water lines. - Closely follow the Test-Packs & Preparing punch list of piping systems and ensuring clearingthose points in consultation with client engineers. - Conversant with various international Codes and Standards like, ASME, API, ASTM. - Planning and day wise progress monitoring of work as per schedule. 2. Group No. 8, Mong Duong Ward, Cam Pha Town, Quang Ninh Province, Vietnam (Hyundai Engineering and Construction Company in Mong Duong 1 Thermal Power Plant project). Main duties: Make commissioning and maintenance for Main boiler, Auxiliary boiler, Close circulation water system, Water treatment system, Lube oil system, Circulation water system (Sea water), Primary Fan, Secondary Fan for boiler ... Implementation of maintenance program and activities on mechanical systems and components of Mong Duong 1 Thermal Power Plant. Responsible for the repair, preparation of works, housekeeping and maintenance of all power plant equipment and associated system to assure safe and reliable operations. • Responsible for maintaining the operation of equipment such as boilers, pumps, stokers, water heaters, water softeners, centrifugal pumps, absorbers, cooling towers and purge pumps. • Control oil, water level, dampers in boilers and fuel supply. • Check the flow of stream to make sure about the generation of sufficient steam. • Responsible for regulating flow of steam distribution system and maintain proper temperature of condensing and chilled water. • Responsible for analyzing water samples and add chemicals as needed. • Make sure that all equipment is in good condition and are operating properly. • Responsible for maintaining all production and consumption records. • Oversee, assign and schedule the work of Power Plant Operators and others in the repair and operation of machinery. • Responsible for checking daily logs that help to determine proper operation of equipment. • Plant equipment, floors, windows and tools are cleaned. • Also, provided training and instructions in the proper methods and processes. • Responsible for checking and inspecting new machinery and equipment installations.
