Manage jobs and manpower in Engineer/QC departments. - Arrange and control Engineer/QC’ jobs in Departments by seeing again the schedule, check list jobs of engineers/QCs in morning; seeing again and evaluate the jobs were done and not yet done on day. - Review and approve Preproduction sample. - Responsibility about technical and structure of all products also quality in manufacturing area by making the structure for product base on furniture knowledge. - Solve problems about technical and structure by making ECO, ECR.... - Manage R&D and Technical Drawings: make technical drawing with detail structure. Make 3D drawing for structure which can’t recognize in 2D drawing. - Research and develop new methods and techniques for production. - Training for new vendors about standards of products. - Train and follow up new projects. - Deal with vendors to have best quotation. - Support to vendor about technical/product problems. - Provide to Engineers/QCs about standards and technical/ product problems to help shipment on time. - Receipt complaints from CS department weekly then have meeting to show QC teams the problems. - Give out solution for each of complaints by brainstorming. - Follow up all complaints posted on Ashley Quality Internal Website (QIS-Quality Improvement System) with solutions. - Follow up the QC’s investigations step by step on QIS. - Approve to close the complaint if the investigations and result is ok. - Random check quality in production if the problem is still there or not or the other problem. - Look for new vendors.
