Chuyên môn: PURCHASING AND IMPORT •Handle and control purchasing activities inside and outside Vietnam for industrial equipments or machines, for customer’s enquiries, projects or tender attending. •Receive the request from other departments, then ask price from current suppliers or search for new prices, new suppliers, choosing the good supplier with competitive price and the best quality. •Discuss and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the fair terms how to protect company when placing order or making contracts (term of payment, delivery method, delivery time, documents required, force majeure, claim, arbitration…) •Following up and evaluate supplier performance, also survey their prestige and condition. •Maintain and develop good relationship with all suppliers •Make payment via wire transfer or arrange documents to open L/C for import •Take care closely each order, push, remind & discuss with suppliers to have the goods on time, not delayed. •Contact different shipping lines/forwarders and insurance company to evaluate and compare their offers in order to choose the best. •Check carefully import documents for smooth customs clearance and timely •Make claim if the goods are not intact or if any abnormal conditions happened and persuade suppliers how to have the workable solution in case of products damage. •Help, train & control staff to complete the tasks also comply the policy of company as well as the rules of Vietnam. •Learn and update the habits and rules of international trade and regulations, policy of Vietnamese Government on purchase and import-export, ensuring goods imported in compliance with Vietnamese regulations and at the best tax rate. Run purchasing smoothly and effectively from difficult situation. Purchasing efficiency increases by 30-40 % in 2010. Negotiate successfully to be authorized distributor for Mueller Co., Cafro, Powermaster, Goodway in Vietnam. EXPORT •Survey prestige and conditions of customers. •Make quotation for machines, equipments or spare parts •Discuss and negotiate to come to an agreement on all terms of contracts/PO like Commodity, price, term of payment, delivery method, delivery time, documents required, force majeure, claim, arbitration… and to be responsible for building the commercial contracts based on quotation and terms approved. (EXW, FOB, CFR, CIF, DDU…). •Receive and check draft L/C, get in touch with the banks to know whether original LCs are arrived then carefully check again, make amendment if needed. •Timely communicate and follow the status of purchase orders to ensure that the specification and requirements are fully complied with the customer’s enquiry and goods are not delayed •Contact different shipping lines/forwarders and insurance company to evaluate and compare their offers in order to choose the best. •Follow the process from packaging, getting empty containers, loading the cargo to having full containers gone back to the ports. •Update information from warehouse then issue commercial invoice, packing list… to do Customs Clearance. •Arrange full set of export documents base on LC/Contract, especially apply C/O, make sure they are correct as per LC’s requirements, submit them to the Bank, control the time and all the terms of LC in order to avoid discrepancies. •Closely update the status of each shipment until customers have already received the goods as well. •Co-ordinate with other departments to update and remind customers to complete payment. •Learn and update the habits and rules of international trade and regulations, policy of Vietnamese Government on purchase and import-export, ensuring goods exported in compliance with Vietnamese regulations.
