Position : Procurement leader Project : Incharge of the Bulk carrier 20.000DWT & 22.500DWT & Oil tanker 6600DWT project - New-shipbuilding and USNS Navy store ship project – USA Nationality (shipname: T-AO 204, T-AKE3, T-AKE6) – Ship repair. Inclusive Date : From on February 2008 to Present. Responsibilities: • Procurement leader and build-up planning supply materials for all the projects of company. • Trainning for the staff in the office. • Prepare the tender’s procedure and checking the tender document all in suppliers. • Mainly in charge of list up materials as below: 1. Machinery: Main engine, Genset, Deck machine ( including: Electric hydraulic mooring winch and windlass), propeller shaft, rudder system, Pump, Electric hydraulic deck crane and HVAC. 2. Electrical: Main switchboard, emergency switchboard, JRC, communication system, Electric hydraulic remote control valve, impressed current cathodic protection system ICCP and Ventilation – Fan. 3. Steel: Steel plate, steel pipe, fitting pipe accessories (union, elbow, reducer, socket) and multi-core tube. 4. Accessories another: Valves, marine navigation, insulation, fiber glass cloth, deck covering, auto parts rubber, wall panel and ceiling panel. The guarantee match with department requirements and progress of production for new-shipbuilding and ship repair. • Survey prices on the market along with the prices all of suppliers ( Europe, Japan, Korea, China origins). Checking the technical agreement, shipment and payment methods as well as negotiates contracts with supplier. • In collaboration with co-worker and support consultant to technical for them. • Checking and confirm actually condition of equipment and document such as: drawing of equipment, installation and operate instruction, certificates. • Negotiations contract with supplier. • Co-ordinate with machinery engineer and maker carry out test running equipment after installation on board completely. • Inventory and evaluated the quantity and quality of the goods in stock that it has planning to buy restock those necessary items for production . • Ensure implement to bought in accordance with budget and demand of company. • In collaboration with all the department relations to build-up the purchasing procedure complete. • Manage all the export/import and logistics activities of the company. • Negotiates contracts for transportation and handling. • Ensures that goods are packaged appropriately as well as delivery the goods on time. • Finally report all above equipments situation. • Build-up the supplier portfolio prestige . • Weekly report to General manager. Project : PCTC Project (Ship modify) I have worked at Quality control Department and responsibilities for the quality for the ship repair and new ship-building at Hyundai Vinashin Shipyard Co., Ltd. Primary responsibilites all the construction and quality of main engine, propeller shaft, rudder stock, rudder carrier, rudder construction, deck crane…etc for ship when its take in repair. Responsibilities: • Survey the construction of the ship and equipments that will be renew. • Checking and confirm equipment which to be installed following drawing. • Load test deck crane and life boat davit. • Daily report and weekly report for Deputy manager. • Finally test report for general manager. Reason for leaving: The end of project
