Building & Optimizing a short term and long term vendor base on vendor performance evaluation 3. Control inventory aging, speed up stock turn, formulate action plan on slow inventory. 4.To manage and be responsible for Safety Stock (SS) and Critical List of all RMs and helping materials items including to check stock availability. 5. Lead cost reduction project in co-ordination with Development team. Lead cost reduction initiatives in all aspect of the company’s procurement and purchasing. 6. Balance quality, productivity, cost, safety and morale to achieve positive result in all area. 7. Ensure Pos are timely properly maintained in system. Ensure material arrive correct quantity and timing accordingly production requirements. 8.Market price trend analyze and find more opportunities to reduce the cost, work together with development team and negotiation with vendor to get best price, highlight opportunities for alternate sourcing and more competitive pricing. 9. Looking for new supplier with the best price and service, suppliers cost break down calculation together with sourcing department. 10. Staffs training and development 11. Provide leadership to purchasing & warehousing. 12. Coordinate activities between material control and planning departments 13.Coordinate with Finance team for all payment issue 14.Coordinate with LOG team for shorten transport lead time, cost saving on freight charge 15.Coordinate with QC dept for quality issue, return rejected materials to suppliers
