Chuyên môn: Be assigned to clear shipments from beginning until liquidation(take care every step for every customer) and solve trouble shipments both inbound and outbound as detail: • Amend doc, estimate the import duty(for customers to pay in advance), ask authority for import if needed, make_sign_chop CDS(Customs Declaration Sheet), clear & deliver shipments with highest pace, liquidate CDS and hand out payment doc(if customers require). • Help colleagues to take specimens for examination, pull shipments out from CFS/CY to deliver, ask advice from Customs Officers should have inquiry…upon clearing shipments at ports(terminals) or Customs Branches. • Arrange and keep moving smoothly (inbound & outbound) for BONDED WAREHOUSE shipments(procedure for this type so chaotic that easily arise problems if careless), usually deal with Customs Officers at ware house 8th(Tan Cang), ware house 3rd and 6th(Tanamexco), Transimex, Phuoc Long 3, Cat Lai and Tan Son Nhat Port. • Settle with authorized Customs Officers to solve matters concerning to tax(return tax and duty free decision) and legal procedure in favor of customers(with lowest cost), mostly at Cat Lai, Tan Cang, and Ho Chi Minh Customs Branch(02 Ham Nghi, Dist 1st ). • Usually deal with non commercial CDS at ports where shipments arrive(in some aspects this CDS type is useful and also the obligation). • Conduct the task of discharge or unloading the cargo at CY, usually in Cat Lai & Tan Cang. • Coordinate with shipping agents to get the correct net/gross weight in order to make and clear outbound shipments accurately(more often face to the big weight difference between Packing List and real weight). • Apply for certificates of national quality validation at Quacert(263 Dien Bien Phu Str), national quality test at Quatest 3(45 Pasture), and labor safety & lifting device at Quatest 2(Vo Thi Sau Str, LVT Park). • Apply for the certificate of health at the HCM City institute of food safety & hygiene(Y bridge, Dist 8th ). • Apply for the certificate of animal quarantine_6th Area(Y bridge, Dist 8th ). • Apply for the certificate of botany quarantine(29 Mac Dinh Chi Str). • Go getting D/O(also Container Deposit), VAT Inv, Debit/Credit notes….from Liners & Forwarding Agencies(if on the route).

Chuyên môn: •• Verify documents sent by vendors and by forwarders (Top Forwarding Services in Vietnam, say, DHL Global Forwarder, TNT EXPRESS, UPS EXPRESS, SASCO, DB Schenker, Expeditors International, KWE, Agility, Yusen Logistics, Nippon, SDV,K&N… ) • Double check with Purchasing Staff whenever find out discrepancies in import docs • Update daily CDS declared in quantity on that day in order to control whether the Forwarders return CDS or not. • Clarify the content of CDS and sign at the end of CDS (if correct) prior to the superior signature. • Ask Purchasing Staff to provide PTA (Premium Transportation Authorization) for the wrong shipping mode (causing differences in freight cost). • Coordinate with warehouse staff to make plan to unload containers suitable for space available. • Push Forwarders to deliver shipments as soon as possible whenever fall into urgent cases with the best skill of negotiation. • Raise meetings or brief discussions with PIC whenever have problems with quantity shortage or damage of the shipments and gather information for damage reports. • Push Forwarders to return CDS as soon as possible after delivery and report to Finance Department and to those who solve the task of Post Clearance. • Fully control CDS and help Purchasing Staff amend or adjust CDS in commodity quantity as well as the amount of money, which is the problem called “Hold Payment” usually caused either by Vendors or by Purchasing Staff. • Coordinate with assembly line officers via shipments’ ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival), the basis to make plan for production.
