Chuyên môn: Senior Merchandiser – Perry Ellis International Vietnam Representative Office From November 2011 to May 2013 Division: Outerwear, Jacket, Men suit, Denim, Khaki pants Core responsibilities • Handle FOB and CM orders from beginning until shipment: make costing sheet, purchase fabric and trim, handle sampling. • Sourcing of different fabrics and trims at local and oversea. • Reduced Cost through negotiation by strong vendor relations. • Develop salesman samples base on buyer’s requirements. • Support divisional manager & build up good relationship with counterpart & supporting teams. • Train and develop the merchandisers to ensure inquiries are answers on time • Focused on anticipating and meeting the needs of the buyer and on developing strong working relationship with suppliers • Find out new suppliers and manufacturers which will help in getting good market price and avoid dependence on one source. • Give and take regular feedback to merchandisers, QC about the delivery and quality status of the materials ordered or received from the suppliers. Merchandiser - Phong Phu Fashion Garment Company Limited From July 2010 to Sep 2011 Division: Jeans and Khaki order Core responsibilities • Handle FOB and CM orders from beginning until shipment: make costing sheet, purchase fabric and trim, handle sampling. • Follow up production. • Coordinate with IE department to arrange shipment. • Coordinate with Production department and buyer to get best solution for any problem during production. • Follow up payment status (through L/C, TT or Trade Card term) to gather money for the company. Merchandiser - Esquel Garment Manufacturing Vietnam (EGV) From February 2008 to May 2010 Division: Knit Polo T shirt Garment (Tommy customer...) Woven Men Shirt Garment (Tesco, Kigili customer) Core responsibilities • Contact head office in Hong Kong to get all information about order. • Translate the technical information for the production and update in the internal system. • Pass all the orders’ information to the related department such as purchasing, Import – Export, Planning, Washing, Accounting, Warehouse, Production, QA and so on. • Check with other oversea factory if any especially fabric. • Purchase trim at oversea supplier. • Contact Sales in head office to get updated information. • Inform the fabric mill the related problems if any and carry out negotiation for the best solution. • Issue woven orders to sub-contract, and Follow up the order’s status closely.
