Ghi chú học tập: Theory: I have been equipping knowledge about basic rules of organism, and knowledge about many biological technologies (medicine, industry, agriculture, environment and bioinformatics). So, I could apply them to approach and solve problems has concern with biology, such as: Some molecular techniques (gene manipulating, PCR, ELISA…). Human physiology and pathology of some usual diseases and application of biotechnology to cure them (bone marrow, bone, teeth, cardiac valve implantations, stem cell technologies). Enzyme and application of enzyme in production. Industrial fermentation and how to treat waste water in fermentation process. Some medicine in nature (their formula, origin, functions and applications in cure). Some methods to analyze microorganism (in food, cosmetic). Processing equipment engineering in manufacture. In my course, I did some seminar to support my studying: Confirmation of viable E. coli O157:H7 by enrichment and PCR after rapid biosensor detection. Biochemistry of some human diseases due to the unusual biological transportation. Transplantation in plant by Agrobacterium tumefaciens. CAZy database (Carbonhydrate-Actived Enzyme database) Small interfering RNA targeting CDC25B inhibits liver tumor growth in vitro and in vivo Blood genesis and application of biotechnology in blood genesis. Osteonecrosis. Transplantation Immunology Some methods to test Pseudomonas Aeruginosa. Some methods to treat waste water of fermentation process. Application of Lipases to Industrial-Scale Purification of Oil- and Fat-Related ompounds. Practice: practice in modern lab room in many biotechnological fields, especially in medical biotechnology. Extracting and purifying many natural compounds from natural materials such as: Coriander essential oil, chitin, chitosan… How to get specimens and analyze some index such as DO, COD, BOD… and evaluate infected levels of environment. Quantifying sugar; extracting and quantifying vitamin C. Some methods to detect some microorganism groups. Culturing, taming and increasing microorganism masses (bacteria, yields, mould…) and culturing animal cells (embryos, human cancer cells MCF-7). Some basic molecular technologies: PCR, DNA, RNA, plasmid extracting, dot blot, Southern blot, gene transfection in E. coli DH5α. Determining erythrocyte and lymphocyte number. Staining and distinguish some kinds of lymphocytes. Some basic tests: determining sugar and protein index and some scales in urine, biopsy, karyotype technology to detect some diseases that related to unusual chromosomes; and how to analyze genetic map.
