Total employees: ~3,600 Location: Lot I3-9 Saigon Hi-Tech Park Dist.9, HCMC • Direct report: Production manager. • Direct Subordinates: 6 shift leaders and 1 Planner. • Scope: big production department with over 300 employees, 6 shift leaders, 1 Planner and 21 team leaders. Main duties: • Build and develop organization. Reposibility to training and develop shift leaders, planner and team leaders, training backup persons for each position. • Make schedule for activities in production area, standadize procedule, process of production. • Control production cost: labor cost, over time, inventory, material. • Lead cost saving and continues improvement activities. • Prepare to expand production relate to layout, man power and capacity caculator, prepare for tool, man power follow forecast demand. • Working with another department to improve envirement condition. • Setting budget: min/pc budget, inventory budget, tools budget… • To be responsible for main KPIs: safety, yield, productivity, delivery performance, inventory value, inventory counting, flexibility training, improvement project, saving project, 5s, kaizen, sundry. • Ensure product quality, improve yield continues. • Make production plan, ensure on time delivery of the line. • Manage and ensure good working conditions of the line’s tools, machinery and equipment. • Setting budget: min/pc budget, sundry budget, tools budget… • To be a contact person and co-operate with the expats from Poland and Netherlands for capacity extension. • Setup the new lines with work place design and work organization planning. • Organize and manage the production activities of the line for optimum effectiveness and efficiency. • Cooperating within production and other departments of the company like QA, maintenance, logistic...to maintain and improve lines’ performance through KPIs. • Linking processes to optimize line capacity, and balancing capacities. • Monitor the performance of all Shift Leaders, Team Leaders and Operator in the production line. Evaluate their performance and make plan to train and develop employees.
